Project Data Flows is a methodology for managing information movement throughout the project. It aims to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance project performance. Key benefits include improved communication, better decision-making, reduced data redundancy, increased transparency, and improved resource management. It also provides a way for the user to add assistants into the current data flow depending on what's needed to be implemented on the project.
Project Data Flows are built in for each project template. In order to access the Project Data Flow, user needs to go to:
Elements in a Data Flow:
Fit to View - fits the Project's Data Flow diagram to user's screen.
Layout - will attempt to rearrange everything based on the default layout that prioritizes a horizontal layout when the user move around different components/resources in the diagram.
Hide Inactive - hides inactive assistants so that the diagram will only show the active ones.
Open Library - opens a pop up containing all project resources. User can add assistants from here.
Save Layout - will save the current layout of the diagram.
Data Flow Diagram shows how each project resources are connected to one another.
