Email delivery for document stores aims to provide an efficient way to upload files directly into the Kodexa platform. This feature allows users to simply send an email containing the desired files to the e-mail address associated to the Document Store. Once received, the system automatically processes the email, converting its content into a PDF and uploading both the converted email and any attachments to the specified document store. This approach eliminates the need for manual file uploads, saving time and effort while ensuring that important documents are quickly and securely stored within the platform.

How to get Document Store ID:

  1. Create any project. User can use any project template.

  2. Go to Manage Project > Data Flow. Access the Document Store:

3. Access the Document Store > Email. Once the Active checkbox is ticked, it means that the Project can receive files via e-mail. The user can send the attachment via e-mail.

Sending E-mail to Document Store:

  1. Ensure that the Active checkbox is ticked. Copy the Document Store e-mail ID.

  2. Send e-mail to the Document Store e-mail ID:

3. Check Workspace > Email Store. The e-mail and attachment should be uploaded in Workspace too.
