Overview

In Kodexa, an “Organization” is a foundational concept that acts as a container for various resources and projects. It is designed to streamline the management of these assets while integrating team collaboration and permission controls. This article introduces the concept of Organizations in Kodexa, outlining their purpose, structure, and how they facilitate efficient project management and collaboration

What is an Organization?

An Organization in Kodexa is a broad framework that encompasses a range of resources such as Projects, Document Stores, Data Stores, and Data Definitions. It serves as a central hub where these different elements are organized and managed. The primary goal of an Organization is to facilitate the grouping of related resources, making them easily accessible and manageable under a unified structure.

Key Features of Organization:

  1. Managing Organization Name and Description:
The Organization Admin can specify the Organization Name and Overview. This can be done via the Profile Icon > Overview. This will provide more information about the Organization.

  2. Manage Billing:
The Organization Admin can access the current Billing setup for their Organization. The Manage Billing button will redirect the user to their Stripe setup for their subscription management. This is where the current subscription can be canceled, managing payment method, managing billing information, and viewing invoice history.

  3. Support Access:
The Organization Admin can allow Kodexa support team to access the Organization for a certain period of time. This ensures that access to Organization will only be given to Kodexa support once initiated by the client. This can be done when "Allow Support Access" is ticked. By default, the period is set end within the day; however, the Organization Admin can change the date accordingly.
